The RAM team installed 4 kilometres of aspirating pipework in a cold-storage structure in — you guessed it — hard-to-reach places. Thanks to our rope access techniques, that is of course no problem at all.

Aspirating pipework is part of an intelligent smoke detection system that actively draws in air and checks it for smoke particles. Instead of waiting for smoke to reach a detector, the system actively searches for smoke itself — ideal for large or complex spaces such as refrigerated warehouses.

We were involved from the engineering phase, working alongside the team from the very start. We developed a tailor-made solution, actively contributed to technical decisions, and responded quickly whenever needed. During execution, our technicians ensured a practical, no-nonsense approach. Thanks to transparent communication and close collaboration with the client, the project was completed efficiently, with a precise and reliable end result.
