Painting work and water-repellent treatment
Protecting a façade or structure is more than just finishing. It is about controlling water, pollution, and wear without disrupting vapor permeability. That is why RAM works with durable coatings and hydrophobic treatments that protect the material while respecting the structure.
For painting work, we use a controlled 3-layer system: the façade is cleaned, treated with a primer and a crack-bridging quartz layer, after which we finish it with a breathable yet waterproof topcoat. This build-up ensures durable protection and a sleek, uniform result.
A hydrophobic treatment does not form a visible layer, but penetrates deep into the façade to make it water-repellent without hindering vapour permeability. This keeps the façade protected against moisture and pollution, while allowing the building to continue breathing.
